Biography

Mr. Kahn was born in Los Angeles, California. In 1992, he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Southern California. While attending the University of Southern California, Mr. Kahn was on the Dean's Honor List and President of Blackstonian's, the pre-law honor society. Mr. Kahn was also active in politics, working on various capacities for the U.S. Senate, Governor's office and the White House, in addtion to being one of twelve students chosen to participate in the University's prestigious semester long lobbying program in Washington D.C. Mr. Kahn then earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1995. While at Pepperdine, Mr. Kahn spent a semester studying in London, was certified student attorney for the Los Angeles District Attorney's office and externed for the Honorable Thomas B. Donovan, United States Bankruptcy Court, Central District of California.

Prior to joining Chapman, Glucksman, Dean, Roeb & Barger , Mr. Kahn practiced with various law firms, where he gained experience with complex litigation, Construction Litigation, insurance bad faith, toxic tort, business litigation and providing general business advice. Mr. Kahn will continue to handle complex construction litigation and business matters.

Mr. Kahn's speaking engagements include the American Society of Safety Engineers, Lorman Education Services; "Mold Remediation"; The Experts "How to Guide with Current Issues and Early Solutions of Mold Related Claims" and "Mold Remediation and Water Damage in California". Mr. Kahn was the research editor for West's Business Reorganization in Bankruptcy textbook and also published a two part article on hiring a contractor for AVRev.com, for which he is also a staff writer for non-legal issues.
