Mr. Murphy was born in San Luis Obispo, California. Mr. Murphy attended Trinity College where he obtained his B.A. in Political Science and minor in Art History in 1987. Mr. Murphy attended Southwestern University School of Law where his received his Juris Doctor degree in 1991. While at Southwestern, Mr. Murphy was on the Dean’s List, received the Dean’s Scholarship Award, Law Review Note and Comment Editor of the Year Award. He also served as Law Clerk to International Law Professor, Robert Lutz. Prior to joining Chapman, Glucksman, Dean, Roeb & Barger , Mr. Murphy was a partner at Demler, Armstrong & Rowland, where he specialized in Construction Litigation/mold litigation, insurance bad faith claims and catastrophic personal injury lawsuits. Mr. Murphy continues to handle complex construction and business matters. He has mediated, arbitrated and tried numerous cases throughout California.
