Biography

Mr. Glucksman attended the University of California, Los Angeles, where he graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in history.  He earned his juris doctor degree from Loyola Law School.

Mr. Glucksman is a founding partner of Chapman, Glucksman, Dean, Roeb & Barger which has offices throughout California.  Mr. Glucksman is an AV Preeminent Rated Lawyer with Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest rating available. He has been named “Super Lawyer” for the last 6 years, including 2012.   He is well known in the construction and business legal community for his representation of builders, developers and business clients.

Mr. Glucksman specializes in complex multi-party litigation, including construction defect claims, environmental, commercial, business and catastrophic event litigation. 
Mr. Glucksman is admitted to the State Bar of California, United States District Court and Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit.  He is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the Los Angeles County Bar Association (Trial Lawyers Section and Business & Corporations Law Section), the Orange County Bar Association, the American Bar Association (Tort & Insurance Law Section and Environmental, Energy and Resources Section), the Association of Business Trial Lawyers, Business Industry Association, Construction Forum, the Environmental Forum and the ABA Toxic Torts and Environmental Litigation Committee.

Mr. Glucksman served as the National Co-Chair of HB Litigation Construction Litigation Conferences as well as Mealey’s Construction Forums for Business Leaders.  He has also served as a profiled speaker and panelist at various seminars including AEI-Brookings Construction Defect Seminar, Association of Southern California Defense Counsel Seminar, CPCU Society Annual “All Industry Day”, DRI’s Construction Litigation, IMN Construction Seminar, IRMI Construction Risk Seminar, Lorman California Mold Conference, MC2 Consultants Construction Seminar, and West Coast Casualty Construction Defect Seminar.  He has also been a featured speaker at various chapters of the California Society of CPA’s and Area discussion groups.
