Mr. Pabst was born in Los Angeles, California. In 1974, he graduated cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a bachelor's degree in history. In 1978, he earned his juris doctorate from Loyola Law School.

In 1978, he was admitted to the State Bar of California and the Bar of the United States District Court for the Central District of California. In 1979, he was admitted to the Bar of the United States Tax Court.

Mr. Pabst specializes in probate, wills, trusts, estate planning and administration, business, corporate, and real estate litigation.
